About Bakers and Bananas: What started with a good deal on free leftover bananas at a local supermarket, grew into a mission to stop losing bananas worldwide. We do this by daring to make the food industry more sustainable and innovating the bakery shelf. In our Banana Factory, the serious work is done. Here we tackle banana waste, as close to home as possible. We process bananas that would otherwise be destroyed in European ports or further along the chain into high-quality 'no-waste' banana puree.
